St Mary’s offers a variety of sports in which both boys and girls may participate. Programs exist for 5th through 8th graders and change depending upon the season:

St. Mary’s participates in the Tri-County Conference, which also includes the following schools: St. Catherine of Sienna (West Dundee), St. Charles Borromeo (Hampshire), St. Edward Catholic Preparatory Academy (Elgin), St. Mary (Sycamore), St. Patrick (St. Charles), St. Peter (Geneva), and St. Thomas More (Elgin).
